Green Initiative
Not only do we vow to improve the health of people, but we’re also committed to keeping the Earth fit for life by continuously seeking out ways to make our clubs more environmentally mindful. And we’ll pursue our commitment for greener practices faithfully for years to come to help create healthier communities for future generations. Since we’ve started the Green Initiative, we’ve implemented the following to reduce waste and conserve energy, as well as other natural resources:
- Testing solar-thermal water heaters for our pools
- Efficient lighting with low wattage
- A recycling program with labeled receptacles
- Eco-flooring & recycled carpet tiling
- Biodegradable & natural cleaning sanitizing products
- Environmentally friendly lotions & conditioners available
- Hyper-efficient air hand dryers & 50% post-consumer waste paper towels
- Eco-friendly, hands-free timer valves on toilets
- Use of 100% recycled paper and soy inks on marketing materials
- Continued member education to encourage greener choices
